We do this by pumping or manually applying a self smoothing polymer modified cement product. This creates a smooth concrete type subfloor that can have a range of thickness from 5mm to 75mm plus. These materials are suitable for overlaying with most other floor types and all resin system types and can be used for internal and external areas. Sikafloor Resiplot Existing floor finishes such as asbestos tiles, synthetic bonded finishes, damaged floor tiles, or terrazzo can cause untold problems to remove before installing a new surface. In such cases Creation are pleased to be able to offer Sikafloor Resiplot, a patented method of treating floors without the need to remove the existing floor finish, thus offering huge savings on cost and time. It is also suitable for overcoating floors which are lightly contaminated, for example with oils.
